FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 15, 2016
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. – Today, Dorado Software, Inc., a global provider of resource, performance management and service orchestration solutions for communication service providers, announced today that they will be demonstrating their Redcell MANO Lifecycle Management solution at the Intel Developer Forum 2016 (IDF16) on August 16-18, in San Francisco, California. Redcell MANO is an integrated suite for service orchestration; no-touch, hybrid service activation; and closed-loop service automation. In addition to offering communication service providers a solution to capitalize on the reality of NFV today, it also provides Virtual Network Function (VNF) providers a proven, carrier-grade, network-function management solution to position their virtual functions for early adoption.
The demonstration will extend VNF Management to Sonus’ Cloud-optimized Session Border Controller Software edition (SBC SWe). Sonus’ proven and complete Cloud SBC enables and secures real-time communications. The demonstration shows SBC capacity management for communication service providers (CSPs). The integration of the Sonus SBC SWe with Redcell’s MANO lets CSPs centrally manage, activate and orchestrate a virtualized SBC through the Redcell portfolio. The demonstration will offer CSPs a real-world example of scalable VOIP trunking interconnection. In addition, the solution will also feature leading VNF management including Brocade, Cisco, F5 and Juniper Networks.
“Service providers must effectively manage converged infrastructures to accelerate the time-to-market of their virtualized, Cloud-based networks,” said John Grana, vice president, Business Development, Sonus. “With Redcell, our customers can optimize, automate and orchestrate their legacy and virtual elements, including proven virtual SBCs from Sonus, enabling them to rapidly deploy new and innovative services.”
“Dorado and Sonus continue a successful partnership that helps advance the state of the industry for VNF orchestration,” said Chris Simon, Vice President, CTO NFV. “Having completed support of the key VNF Lifecycle processes, such as instantiation and automated scaling, we are now jointly exploring other industry challenges such as dynamic license management.”
The solution will be demonstrated by Dorado Software at IDF16, Technology Showcase, booth #184.
